Controverisal Sri Lankan artist M.I.A performed at the Super Bowl half time show with Madonna and during the performance she flashed her middle finger. Its still unknown if she will face charges from the FCC, like Janet Jackson did after her nipple-slip at the 2004 Super Bowl. Though Janet’s charges were dropped at appeals court, if M.I.A is charged she will have to pay the fines herself due to an indemnity clause in her contract.
