LINDSAY LOHAN SERVED SEARCH WARRANT OVER ALLEGED JEWELRY THEFT
Cops requested a search warrant Tuesday from an LA judge for Lindsay Lohan’s Venice Beach home, because they suspect she’s nabbed about $2,500 worth of “high end jewelry” from a Venice jewelry store near her new home, and they even have video of Lilo wearing the stash, RadarOnline reports.
That’s not good news for the newly-rehabbed star. Not only is she still on probation, Lohan could be charged with a felony over the alleged theft.
“Lindsay is being accused of stealing high-end jewelry, including a necklace … and has been photographed and there is video of her wearing the jewelry she is accused of stealing,” a law enforcement source told the entertainment website.
The Mean Girls Star was also suspected of stealing a, $11,000 mink coat from a Colombia co-ed in May, 2008, and a Rolex watch in August, 2010. Lohan’s taste isn’t cheap.
Lilo’s next court appearance is scheduled for February 25.
UPDATE: Although a search warrant was obtained by authorities on Tuesday to search Lohan’s Venice pad, the necklace was turned over to police by someone other than Lohan, before police had a chance to search the star’s home.

Lohan’s fur coat heist may have been one of the most interesting. The coat beloged to Masha Markova, 22, who lost her mink while attending a private birthday party in NYC. At one point, she was seated next to Lohan, and recalled putting the mink in a common bin with other jackets. After realizing it was gone, she had her lawyers call Lohan’s and the coat arrived at Markova’s apartment two days later smelling of cigarettes and booze with a slight tear in the lining. A spokesperson for Lindsay Lohan never commented on the incident.
Lohan’s new movie sounds interesting, although I suspect it will ultimately be a direct to DVD deal.
